Welcome to the website for Sigma Phi Epsilon at San Diego State Universtiy. Sigma Phi Epsilon, with over 120 members, is one of the largest fraternities on the campus. In addition to the numerous social events that members get to be a part of each semester, the competitive sports teams inside the house, and the outstanding achievements on and off campus that have been achieved, Sigma Phi Epsilon has been ranked the best house academically for a number of semesters. Building balanced leaders has always been the goal of Sig Ep, and the SDSU chapter of Sig Ep greatly exemplifies this goal.

Recent News
April 2010: April 17, three Sig Ep chapters from SDSU UCSD and USD teamed up to put on the annual Sun Cup. The event raised over $9000 for the Doheny Eye Institute as a beneficiary. April 28th, the first annual brotherhood potluck dinner took place. Many awards were given to recognize all the great work Brothers have done to better the chapter. The Sig Ep soccer team has gone undefeated in the past four games only allowing a single goal. now looking to playoffs in May and hoping not only to win but push for the sports banner as well.
March 2010: On Friday Night March 5th the gentlemen of Sig Ep participated in the 2nd annual Kappa Alpha Theta Broomball Philanthropy. The broomball team went undefeated and brought home another championship. Congratulations to all team members for working so hard and continuing to display Sig Ep athletic prowess. On Sunday March 14th our brothers enjoyed some hearty brotherhood development with the 2nd annual Sig Ep fitness day. Our brothers competed against each other in a variety of fitness contests including push-ups, pull-ups, vertical jump, and a crazy fun obstacle course. Thanks to everyone for showing up and enjoying some good times and sound body.
On Saturday March 20th SDSU hosted its annual Explore SDSU day for potential freshman applying for Fall 2010 admission. Our Sig Ep recruitment team was out in force tabling on Centennial Walkway. Our recruiters advertised our Balanced Man Scholarship and Balanced Man development program and gained a great head start for Fall Rush 2010. Thank you to our whole recruitment team and members for showing support and working the table.
February 2010: Congratulations to our Rush committee on recruiting the best Spring 2010 class at SDSU. We are pleased to announce that we are extremely excited for our 17 new Sigmas who we know will do a great job of helping to maintain a high standard of excellence and VDBL in our chapter.
On the weekend of February 12-14, the Cal Delta executive board and other emerging chapter leaders attended the Carlson Leadership Academy in San Mateo, CA. We brought home four more awards from this leadership conference including Man Power, GPA, Member Development, and the prestigious Ruck Leadership Award for outstanding chapter leadership given to our former VP of Member Development Nick Kwok.
On Saturday February 20th Sig Ep Cal Delta hosted the biggest and best Alumni BBQ since its inception a few years ago. With over 50 alumni and the entire undergraduate chapter in attendance, we had a great time enjoying great food, fun memories, and great networking opportunities. Special thanks to Gary Romoff ’90 for providing all of the food and support to throw such an amazing event.
January 2010: After a much needed winter break, Sig Ep Cal Delta is back in action. Both the former and new executive boards met with alumni for our transition retreat where the entire semester has been planned out with such highlights as the Alumni BBQ and SDSU basketball game, T.A.K.E. self-defense clinic with Pi Beta Phi sorority, and our 2nd Annual Sig Ep Sun Cup philanthropy taking place in April.
December 2009: On Saturday, December 5th Sig Ep placed 3rd overall in Pi Beta Phi’s 3rd annual ArrowJam dance competition. Thank you to everyone who participated and a special thanks to our amazing Pi Phi coaches. Good job boys.
Sig Ep Cal Delta also held its executive board elections on Sunday December 6th. Thank you to everyone who took the time to run for a position. It is good to see how much our members truly care about making our house great. Congratulations to our new executive members. Please see the executive board page for their profiles.
